2. Prices are based on gender, temperament, color and lineage. Due to the demand for females from USDA licensed breeders, our females are $25 more than males.

Advance reserve waiting list
1. Advanced reserve waiting list members have first selection of available babies before the public.
2. Members will be contacted in the order of full payments received once babies are photographed.
3. At the time of selection, you have 24 hours to pick or opt to wait until next litters.

Reserving
1. An approved Prospective Buyers Form is required.
2. Once you are approved, you may pay for the pet of your choice. Animals below $500 require payment in full.
3. All payments are non-refundable.
4. You must be at least 18 years to purchase any live animal. All adoptions require an ID verification at pickup.
5. If we discover the animal you have reserved is illegal in your location or found you were untruthful on your Prospective Buyer's Form, the sale will be canceled and you will forfeit your payment! We do not sell to CALIFORNIA, GEORGIA, HAWAII, or PENNSYLVANIA.

Sales
1. All sales are final. No refunds will be given for any reason. It is the buyer's responsibility to do their own research before inviting in a new family member into their home.
2. Before making an educated decision, please be sure you are prepared to maintain the proper care of the specific pet, provide yearly veterinary care, and devote your time. If you cannot provide the best life for our animals, please reconsider.

Health guarentee
1. All buyers must have their hedgehog examined by their exotic veterinarian withing 14 business days of the date of purchase written on their paperwork and send us proof of receipt. Failure to do so will void any/ all health guarantees.
2. All regular priced hedgehogs $300 or more are covered with a lifetime Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (WHS) replacement and a 6 month congenital disease warranty. Rescues, discounted hedgehogs under, and tenrecs are not covered by any warranty. Lifetime breeder support is included.
3. In the unlikely event that we need to honor one of our health guarantees, we will replace with a hedgehog of equal or lesser value (based on current age) once one is available. A necropsy report is required. We must be notified within 24 hours of the diagnosis and must receive a copy of the necropsy report withing two weeks of confirmation. We collaborate with other breeders to better the species. We reserve the right to seek our veterinarian's professional opinion at our cost.
4. Negligence, injury, improper diet, temperature, or illness due to improper care is not covered. Hedgehogs require a cage temperature of 75-80 degrees, so a specific heat setup is required.
5. Housing pet hedgehogs together will void all health guarantees. Hedgehogs are solitary!
6. If a hedgehog or tenrec is sold as a pet is bred, whether accidental or intentional, any and all health guarantees are null/void.

3. The veterinary necropsy must be performed by Oregon State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory confirming cause of death to be covered by our warranty is required prior to replacement being given. All shipping and laboratory expenses are the sole responsibility of the owner.

pet home Only contract
1. All animals sold at Gunner's Quills are sold as pet only.
2. If you can no longer keep your pet you must surrender back to us for the proper rehoming. You may not breed, resell, or rehome for breeding purposes.
3. Pedigrees are not given to pet homes. If you purchase under a pet home contract, you will never have breeding rights of the particular animal you purchased from us before. We will not back track.
4. If any animal sold as a pet is bred whether accidental or intentional, any and all health guarantees are null/void.
5. If any animal sold as a pet is bred whether accidental or intentional, we will initiate litigation for breach of contract and any/all damages. In the event of an accidental or intentional breeding the buyer agrees to pay Gunner's Quills Exotics $2500 for breach of contract, and $500 per hoglet. We hold the right to reclaim said animal, all resulting offspring, and collect restitution for all legal costs involved in the reclamation of the animal and its off spring and any profits that have been received by the buyer.

2. Pickups are done by appointment once all requirements are satisfied. We are not open to the public, nor allow anyone inside our home so please dress accordingly. We do porch pickup only.
3. Please wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late without a notification by phone call, you will be charged a $20 late fee. Any reserved pet will be considered abandoned if you are a no show for your appointment.

Shipping
- USDA ground transport is available through KDs Critters and Transport.
- The buyer understands and assumes all risks associated with transport. Once the animal leaves us we cannot be held responsible for the health and will being during the transport process.
rehoming
1. All animals sold at Gunner's Quills Exotics may not be resold or rehomed.
Returns
1. If for any reason you can no longer keep your animal you are required to contact us immediately and surrender your pet back to us. No financial compensation will be given for this service.
